Tiny $70 Xteink X3 e-reader puts Silicon Valley to shame

The $69 Xteink X3 is a credit-card-sized e-reader sold on Amazon that magnetically attaches to a phone and shows text large enough to read comfortably on its half-size Kindle screen. In one month the author finished three books, cut daily iPhone screen time by 25 minutes, and noted that paragraph-sized pages prompted more frequent reading. The X3 lacks a touchscreen, color display, and backlight, providing only basic e-ink functionality; the newer X4 Pro adds lighting and touch capability.
