Trump administration takes Musk’s side in fight over EU tech rules

The U.S. Department of Justice filed an application to intervene in Elon Musk’s appeal against a €120 million fine imposed by the European Commission on X. The DOJ argues that Brussels overstepped its authority by targeting an American company that does not operate within EU jurisdiction. The case will be heard at the EU’s General Court in Luxembourg.
