Trump to host Anthropic’s Dario Amodei at White House dinner, Axios reports

President Donald Trump will host Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei at a private White House dinner on Sunday, the first one-on-one meeting between them. Amodei missed last week’s state dinner for Chinese President Xi Jinping because of a scheduling conflict. Trump has since declared Anthropic no longer a national-security threat. The dinner follows a June G7 summit, a planned AI-policy discussion with tech CEOs, and Amodei’s recent call for the industry to slow down, which Trump has dismissed.
