Two years after launch, Walmart’s Flipkart is closing in on India’s quick-commerce leaders

Flipkart Minutes, launched in August 2024, now processes 1.1-1.2 million orders daily, narrowing the gap with Swiggy’s Instamart (≈1.4 million) and trailing Blinkit (≈3.5 million) and Zepto (≈2.5 million). The service has expanded to about 1,030 micro-fulfillment centers, adding roughly 100 per month, and sees 65-70% repeat customers spending ₹400-₹500 per order with delivery times falling to 11 minutes.
