Uber invests $10M in Indian fleet operator Carrum at $168M valuation

Uber invested $10 million in Carrum Mobility, valuing the Indian fleet-management startup at $168 million post-money, and now holds a mid-teens percent stake. Carrum operates about 5,100 vehicles and 18,000 drivers across six Indian cities, generating roughly $45 million in annualised revenue and plans to double its fleet to 11,000 within a year. The partnership supplies Uber’s Go, Premier and Black services, with Carrum positioned as Uber’s largest Black-tier fleet partner in India.
