UBS says China is unlikely to match ASML’s top tool this decade

UBS analysts find China’s lithography capability comparable to ASML’s 2004 level, concluding it will not produce a viable EUV alternative within the next decade. They project China will achieve high-volume manufacturing of immersion DUV machines in two to five years, a segment whose export licences are controlled by the Dutch government.
