UC Berkeley indefinitely suspends international student work authorizations

UC Berkeley’s International Office will halt all Course Credit CPT applications indefinitely after a new ICE memo demanding stricter compliance and announcing SEVP audits that could jeopardize a school’s certification. The office will still process “degree-requirement” CPT and is consulting legal counsel before any future Course Credit CPT approvals.
