UiPath’s Dines says AI needs a manual and launches Cartographer to write it

UiPath CEO Daniel Dines announced Cartographer, a tool that generates a “Map of Work” from process charts, mining diagrams, SOPs, and SME input. The tool employs coding agents to build automations that humans review and correct, with corrections recorded in a Decision Ledger. SMBC, which has automated over six million hours and freed 3,000 employees, cited Cartographer’s use of rules, data, generative AI, and human checkpoints to maintain end-to-end accuracy. Cartographer is now generally available and live, but pricing details remain undisclosed.
