UK space strategy puts £7.8bn behind defence, satellites and ESA to 2030

The UK space strategy earmarks £7.8 billion through 2030, combining civil and military budgets. The Ministry of Defence receives £2.3 billion for satellite communications and £880 million for space-based ISR. Civil allocations include £85 million for a collision-monitoring centre, £30 million for SaxaVord Spaceport, £1.6 billion for ESA programmes, £235 million for EUMETSAT, and £135 million annually for the EU Copernicus Earth-observation system.
