Ultrahuman raised $70m to turn its ring into a computer

Ultrahuman secured $70 million—$65 million in equity and $5 million in debt—valuing the Bengaluru company at $365 million, with investors such as Qualcomm Ventures and Labcorp. It is redesigning its smart ring on Qualcomm silicon to run native code for game-controller input, AI interaction and gesture control for smart glasses, while a software update will add these features to existing Ring Air and Ring Pro models. The firm reported $140 million in annual revenue, a 45% year-over-year rise, and targets $200 million by January 2027 after selling roughly 800 000 rings worldwide.
