Under Trump, EPA’s enforcement of environmental laws collapses, report finds

Enforcement against polluters in the US plunged under Trump. Civil lawsuits filed by the US Department of Justice dropped to 16 in the first 12 months after Trump's inauguration. This is a 76% decrease from the first year of the Biden administration.
