United Airlines will deliver food and other essentials to your gate

United is piloting a gate-delivery service at Newark Liberty’s Terminal C, letting passengers order salads, sandwiches, snacks, drinks, over-the-counter medicine, travel pillows and charging cords through its app and pick them up from shelves at nine designated gates for both domestic and international flights. The program, run with OTG, will later expand to Houston and may eventually integrate with in-flight entertainment systems for pre-landing ordering.
