US distributor of China’s most popular humanoid robots pivots after US ban

RoboStore, the former North American distributor for Unitree Robotics’ affordable humanoid and quadruped robots, will shift to manufacturing its own robots at a new Long Island, New York facility in response to a U.S. ban on foreign-made robots. The company has sold more than 1,500 units to customers including Cisco, OpenAI, Nvidia and over 150 universities such as Harvard and MIT.
