Nevada’s Transportation Authority approved three permits that allow Tesla to deploy up to 5,000 robotaxis in the Las Vegas area within a year, while Waymo and Uber each received permission for up to 1,000 autonomous vehicles. The decision expands autonomous-vehicle testing capacity across the state.
