Velatir raises €5m to sell European companies control over their own AI

Velatir, an Odense startup that monitors and controls employee-used AI across endpoints, browsers, vendors and infrastructure, raised €5 million in seed funding co-led by Spintop Ventures and Ugly Duckling Ventures, with participation from Norrsken Evolve, two angels and a matching loan from EIFO. The platform, built on European-owned and hosted infrastructure, maintains a directory of over 4,000 AI tools and aggregates real-time usage, data-flow and cost information, and plans to expand across Europe to become its fastest-growing AI company.
