Velaura raises $110mn to sell AI chips that cut the power bill, not the clock speed

Velaura AI secured $110 million in Series A funding, valuing the Santa Clara startup at over $1 billion. The capital will accelerate development of its Titan Core chip-design platform, which claims a two-to-four-fold performance-per-watt improvement and is already deployed in more than 30 million chips. Velaura licenses the technology, charging an upfront fee plus a royalty based on actual power savings, and is negotiating with three of the four largest cloud providers.
