Verge staffers react to the iPhone Duo: What we love and don’t love

Apple’s first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, features a 5.4-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch inner display, dual rear cameras, Touch ID, and an IP68 water-resistance rating, with iOS software tweaks for the foldable form factor. Pre-orders begin October 16, shipping starts October 23, and the base 256 GB model is priced at $1,999. Verge staff praise the name and design while noting mixed feelings about the device’s practicality and price.
