Walmart went from zero to 100 charging stations in under two years

Walmart opened its 100th EV fast-charging station at a Monument, Colorado Supercenter, deploying 400 kW chargers from ABB and Italy’s Alpitronic across 20 states, up from none two years earlier. The four-dispenser units can power up to eight vehicles simultaneously with NACS and CCS1 connectors, and Alpitronic’s North American hub in Charlotte invested $9.3 million to support the rollout.
