Walmart will finally accept tap to pay in stores by the end of 2026

Walmart will begin offering tap-to-pay at select stores on August 24, expanding to all U.S. locations by the end of 2026, with fuel-station rollout completing mid-2025. Sam’s Club will also support phone and smartwatch payments, and eligible Walmart, Sam’s Club and OnePay cards can be added to digital wallets.
