Wary of Artemis IV timeline, NASA is changing lunar spacesuit design

NASA will adopt a simplified “Sortie Suit” for its first Artemis lunar landings, partnering with Axiom Space to produce a lighter, less complex spacesuit that eases integration with the SpaceX and Blue Origin landers. The change, directed by Artemis Program Manager Jeremy Parsons, aims to meet the target of landing astronauts at the Moon’s South Pole by 2028.
