Waymo is expanding to Germany, with service in Munich planned for 2027

Waymo will launch commercial robotaxi service in Munich by the end of 2027, deploying vehicles in the coming weeks to map streets and test with safety drivers while securing permits from local, state and federal authorities. The expansion follows subsidiaries established in France, Spain, the Netherlands and Switzerland, and precedes a planned public rollout in London next month.
