Waymo is scaling fast. Here’s what the fleet data shows.

Waymo now operates in 15 U.S. cities, averaging 500,000 paid weekly rides with a fleet of approximately 4,000 vehicles. Eighty percent of these robotaxis are concentrated in California and Texas, where the company recently increased its fleet by 49% using the new Chinese-built Zeekr-based "Ojai" minivan, despite facing significant import tariffs.
