Waymo pioneer Sebastian Thrun is building a stealth robotics startup

Sebastian Thrun announced a stealth robotics startup named Dulo at the Actuate conference, stating it will develop foundation models for hardware design to enable “manufacturing at lightspeed.” The company’s team includes leaders from Waymo, Google Brain and Stanford’s AI Lab, and it targets the design and production stage of robotics rather than building finished machines.
