Waymo robotaxis are headed to Munich

Waymo will launch a robotaxi service in Munich, beginning with manual street-mapping followed by testing with safety drivers and invited riders before removing drivers. The company is coordinating with the Federal Motor Transport Authority and expects public commercial rides by late 2027, after securing the required Level 4 permits.
