Wayve’s AI will reach Mercedes cars within two years, Kendall says

Wayve’s AI will be integrated into Mercedes-Benz consumer cars within the next two years, following a global partnership announced earlier this month. The system runs on low-compute hardware using standard cameras and radar, and Wayve has demonstrated prototype vehicles on Mercedes production platforms in London, Stuttgart, and San Francisco. The company plans to launch a robotaxi service in Tokyo by year-end, expanding its fleet-based model that has already driven in over 500 cities.
