Welcome to the Medical Clinic at the Interplanetary Relay Station

A worker at an interplanetary relay station between Saturn and Uranus suffers a venomous bite from a beetle-like insect in the hydroponics bay. The station's medical clinic forces patients into a chaotic, endless queue managed by unreliable equipment and alien staff. Amputation remains the primary database recommendation for the spreading, purple infection.
