When it comes to Beatles references, scientists can't let it be

A study in PLoS ONE identified The Beatles as the most cited musical group in scientific papers, finding over 3,000 references to their songs and lyrics, including a Long COVID article that tweaked “The Long and Winding Road.” The paper also notes a 2014 Karolinska Institute project that deliberately inserted Bob Dylan lyrics into biomedical literature, prompting a 2015 analysis of Dylan references such as “The Times They Are A’Changin’” and “Blowing in the Wind.”
