Why clearing cache won't always speed up your devices

Clearing cache removes shortcuts that let software reuse data, so doing it indiscriminately can make apps and browsers slower while the cache rebuilds. It only helps when the stored files are corrupted or causing loading issues, or when freeing space is needed for other uses. Targeted cache clearing should be used as a specific troubleshooting step, not routine maintenance.
