Why does your Kindle even have Bluetooth?

Kindles made after 2016 include Bluetooth, enabling wireless headphones or speakers for Audible audiobooks and the Assistive Reader text-to-speech feature, since the devices lack built-in speakers or a headphone jack. Pairing is done via the Library → Downloaded menu, and the feature also supports VoiceView for vision-impaired navigation.
