Why it's important to regularly restart your router

Rebooting a router monthly clears its memory, refreshes device and ISP connections, and forces it to choose less congested Wi-Fi channels, resulting in fewer dropped connections, reduced buffering, and steadier speeds. The NSA and FBI recommend regular reboots as a baseline security measure because they can disrupt malware and eliminate suspicious temporary connections.
