With Tabby, a former accountant is using AI to make accountants obsolete
Ahad Ali, formerly a 20-person accounting firm owner handling over 2,000 returns annually, founded Tabby to replace traditional SaaS accounting tools. Tabby imports live account data via Plaid and uses AI to generate real-time profit-and-loss dashboards, targeting small businesses and accounting firms with a monthly subscription model. In fourteen months, Tabby has 5,500 users, $100,000 annual recurring revenue, a seven-person team, and is raising $1 million in pre-seed funding.
