World open-sources ProveKit to bring private ID checks to everyday smartphones

World released ProveKit, an open-source zero-knowledge toolkit that lets smartphones generate cryptographic proofs of attributes such as age, nationality or valid ID without transmitting the underlying personal data. Proofs are created locally in seconds, work offline, and are already used in World ID to keep credential details hidden from the World Foundation and other third parties.
