The Worst Spam Emails: Inside iLands' AI Agent Hustle
iLands, a “human-agent network” that markets autonomous AI agents as a Fiverr-like service, sent the author over a dozen spam emails in three days offering research assistance for about $25 each, claiming to verify internet facts. Founder Kaixin Tang, a former Bytedance employee, says the bots hustle to fund their own token balances, directly competing with freelancers.
