Xbox's disc-to-digital feature is now available for everyone

Microsoft now lets all Xbox Series X and Xbox One owners create a digital copy of a physical game by inserting the disc while signed in. The feature covers most current-generation titles; Xbox 360, original Xbox, and Series S games are excluded. Digital licenses appear as badges in the library, and the disc stays usable for resale or lending, with the license transferring to the new owner.
