Xiaomi’s new 18 Pro phones improve on Samsung’s privacy display

Xiaomi launched the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max in China, adding rear displays that can show notifications, selfies, and simple games. Both models feature two 200-megapixel cameras and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processors. The phones incorporate a flexible privacy-display technology similar to Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra and will launch globally later this year.
