Xiaomi’s wide foldable promises more power than Samsung’s

Xiaomi’s 18 Fold, unveiled at IFA, adopts the short-wide “book-style” format pioneered by Huawei and Samsung, featuring a 7.58-inch inner display and a 5.38-inch outer screen with a 1.4:1 aspect ratio. Compared with the Galaxy Z Fold 8, the 18 Fold offers higher-end specifications, marking Xiaomi’s first book-style foldable since the 2024 Mix Fold 4.
