YouTube promises custom feeds and a lot more AI later this year

YouTube will launch Custom Feeds that let users add new tabs to the interface, create pages by typing a description, refine suggestions, and save multiple feeds, with rollout in the US across web, mobile, and TV. The platform will also allow GIFs in comments, searchable from popular animated thumbnails, and add group-chat support to direct messaging in the US, UK, Singapore, Brazil, and selected European countries.
