Zillow and Redfin settle FTC antitrust case

Zillow paid Redfin $100 million to display Zillow’s rental listings on Redfin’s sites instead of competing, prompting an FTC and five-state antitrust lawsuit. The settlement requires Redfin to reenter the rental-advertising market, lift previous competition restrictions, and allows it to sell its own ads while still showing Zillow listings.
